Shortly after the release, she became the first woman to win Footwear New’s Shoe of the Year Award. In September 2017, Rihanna launched her beauty line. After years of frustration with the void in the makeup industry for women of all skin tones, Riri came up with her own solution.

Women are ecstatic with the products, especially women of color who have long been needing more complex options. Also, in late January 2018 she officially made the top 40 charts for the 50th time, making her the second female in history to do this. It was her feature on N.E.R.D.’s “Lemon” that became her 50th Top 40 hit. She’s the eighth person to have at least fifty Top 40 hits, sharing the honor with legends like Elvis. Her album Anti had six tracks that hit number one. Anti is an album you need to listen to all the way through. From “Kiss It Better” to “Love On The Brain,” you’ll see a soulful, old-timey side of Riri that you wish you knew about long ago.
