What is a morning without your pick me up, wake me up, energy booster cup of coffee? For many of us a morning coffee is simply a must, a need, and of course a want for many of us. Well, as it turns out your favorite morning beverage is good for more than just making you up and fueling you for the day, the benefits of coffee way exceed the cons. Years back coffee was being posed as dangerous with multiple being explored, nowadays the benefits are being publicized and revealed, finally! Coffee has been studied immensely and emphasized over the past few decades, research in fact showed that t was correlated with an 8-15% reduced risk of death. Research has also uncovered that coffee drinkers are at less of a risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, colon cancer, uterine cancer, liver cancer, and cirrhosis. The reason coffee has been shown to decrease risk in the aforementioned is unknown and still being discovered, the greatest part is that these benefits apply to both caffeinated and decaffeinated.

On the other hand, coffee has still been linked to a few dangers and potential links to some illnesses. These include bladder and pancreatic cancer, esophageal cancer, and side effects such as impaired sleep and an anxious jittery feeling in some. Caffeine intake and coffee, in general, should be as everything else- in moderation and not overdone in any way.
